This dramatic Christmas program may be used during the Christmas season for any occasion in which Junior High youth are to take part. Get If We Are Wise literature books for free.
The staging is simple.
The play involves three older teens or young adults and ten to twenty Junior High youths. This short play opens with a tableau of the Wisemen placing their gifts before the crib of the Holy Child. As the Wisemen leave the playing area, the young people come to the stage from the audience and ponder the gifts they will bring. The dialogue is in choral form and the rhyme scheme opens the play up to humor.
Marion Fairman, a nurse in the Air Force, and English teacher/professor and a writer of dramatic material, received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Miami University Check If We Are Wise our best literature books for 2013.
